travel cruising the world grand princess alaska
This cruise was a getaway cruise... we needed a break.
We had to cancel a May extended-family cruise to the Meditteranean due to Covid concerns.
We decided it would be safe to take an Alaska cruise where we would have access to US doctors in case of an emergency.
We drove about 8 hours up to Vancouver, British Columbia, to catch the Grand Princess for two 7-day back to back cruises.
With a good price on an interior cabin, staying on the ship at Whittier, Alaska, and taking it back was near the same cost as flying back.
